Jack Grealish scores his first Manchester City goal, as The Sky Blues take The Canaries apart at The Etihad.

It was a wake-up call to Norwich at the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City gave them a harsh reality check of what life is like in the Premier League. 

Pep Guardiola’s men oozed quality as they took control over the Canaries from the 1st minute. Norwich were too easy to cut through and lacked quality in possession for long periods.

Next, Aymeric Laporte scored his first goal at the Etihad from Ilkay Gundogan’s corner, in a congested box just after the hour. Then Raheem Sterling, who was dropped from Guardiola’s starting line-up, scored 10 minutes after coming on as Jesus racked up his third assist with another low ball from out wide. Riyad Mahrez also came off the bench to complete the demolition. He beat Krul in a one-on-one after a lofted through-ball from Ruben Dias.

Yesterday, City emphatically put any lingering worries over 3 successive defeats, this season and last, firmly behind them!
