Poland need three points to keep the pressure on England. Hungary are playing for pride and will look to frustrate the visitors!

Poland, who are likely destined for a second-place finish in World Cup 2022 Qualifying Group I, will host Hungary in Warsaw for their final game of the group on Monday.

The hosts sit three points behind England heading into the final matchday, while Marco Rossi’s Hungary only have pride to play for this week.

Poland will be without midfield general Grzegorz Krychowiak for this match, following his booking against Andorra, but Jan Bednarek is back from a ban of his own.

Bednarek ought to slot straight back in for Maciej Rybus in the heart of defence, while Krychowiak’s place in midfield could be filled by Karol Linetty or Jakub Moder.

Matty Cash came off the bench for his debut when Poland thrashed Andorra, but Kamil Jóźwiak should keep his place on the right, after scoring in Friday’s comfortable win.

Meanwhile, Hungary have no fresh injury or suspension concerns for the final matchday, but RB Leipzig duo Péter Gulácsi and Willi Orbán are both still injured.

Marco Rossi selected a relatively strong XI to face San Marino and he should stick with the majority of the same team here, with rumoured Chelsea target Attila Szalai starting in the middle of a three-man defence.

Bálint Vécsei will certainly be hoping for another start in midfield, following his goal last time out. However, András Schäfer could provide some fresh legs in the Hungarian engine room, if required.

Hungary will try to make it difficult, but we believe that Poland will emerge victorious from this encounter. Expect a 3-0 win for the Poles, with two goals coming in the first half.
