Dominant Liverpool Cruise to Easy EPL Triumph at Everton!

At the final whistle, the score reads 4-1 to the Reds. Salah nets a beautiful brace. Henderson and Jota are also on target!

Mohamed Salah found the back of the Goodison Park net twice, as Liverpool hammered Everton 4-1 in the English Premier League (EPL) Merseyside derby on Wednesday.

The Reds came up with another classy performance and their Egyptian forward, Salah, has now racked up 13 goals in 14 games so far this campaign.

Jürgen Klopp’s outfit are averaging more than three goals per match this season, having netted 43 times so far – 10 ahead of the second most prolific side, Chelsea.

Jordan Henderson put Liverpool into the lead with a fantastic left-footed strike in the ninth minute, before the midfielder turned provider for Salah, with a fine through-ball.

The Egypt skipper picked up the ball on the right flank, cut inside, and applied a clinical finish to make it 2-0.

Everton found a way back into the match with the stadium clock reading 38 minutes. Demarai Gray supplied the goal, after fine work from Brazilian forward, Richarlison.

Rafael Benítez’s men didn’t give up, but Liverpool put the contest beyond doubt when Salah picked the pocket of Séamus Coleman near the halfway line, raced through, and stroked the ball home.

Diogo Jota rounded off the destruction with an outstanding strike from a tight angle. The Portuguese forward spun away from Allan, with a brilliant turn, before blasting past Jordan Pickford’s near post and into the roof of the net.
