Tottenham Destroy Canaries in Sensational Sunday EPL Showdown!

Moura nets a stunner and Son and Sanchez are also on target, as Spurs kill off the Canaries at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!

An incredible strike from forward, Lucas Moura, helped Tottenham Hotspur to a 3-0 home victory over Norwich City on Sunday.

Moura put Spurs into an early lead when he beat Norwich midfielder, Billy Gilmour, played a clever one-two with Son Heung-Min and then produced a fierce, goal-bound strike from outside the box.

The victory lifts Spurs into fifth place with 25 points from 14 matches,10 points off the top of the table, but with a game in hand, as new boss Antonio Conte, continues to make an impact.

Norwich dominated possession, but couldn’t get past Conte’s well-drilled defence, with Spurs looking good on the counterattack.

Frontman, Teemu Pukki came close to giving Norwich a third-minute lead, but the Finn hit his shot straight at Spurs goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, before Moura opened the scoring on 10 minutes with his unbelievable strike.

The Canaries applied pressure after halftime, but Adam Idah wasted a close-range opportunity with the goal at his mercy after Pukki had scuffed an initial effort.

Colombian defender, Davinson Sánchez, doubled Spurs’ deep in the second half, netting from close-range after the ball fell to him following a corner.

Son sealed a comfortable victory shortly after, slotting home from a layoff from defender Ben Davies.

“I think we have a good mentality. Step by step we work very hard and try to put on the pitch what Antonio gives us. Our style of play is aggressive now with a lot of intensity. We are doing very well,” Moura said.

The loss for Norwich was the first since Dean Smith took over as manager and leaves them rock bottom of the EPL table.
